Bloom & Johnson Millworks wanted to reposition themselves in the marketplace. The owners are young, and want (and deserve) to be taken seriously in an industry overwhelmed by older, more established businesses. The ask was to create a logo package that would balance the youth and modern aesthetic of Bloom & Johnson with their authority in the marketplace.

Logo design, brand identity re-orientation, and business card design
We set out to craft a brand identity for them that is modern and tasteful, as they serve the modern interior design crowd as much as veteran woodworkers. By adopting a natural color palette and focusing on the wood itself, we keep the main thing the main thing since that is their one and only product source. For the typeface and logo treatments, we ended up going with clean, concise layouts that will leave no doubt in the mind of their customers as to their focus. Keeping in mind their goal of being industry-leaders in the space, we crafted a logo package that will grow with them for years to come. I'm excited to do a website to complement this logo package for Bloom & Johnson in the near future.
